Scramble Golf
Fall 2009 STARTING: Sept 5th
SOCIAL: Teams/individuals that have basic to intermediate athletic skills and love to socialize.
START TIMES: Teams will be responsible for their own tee times.
LOCATION: The Bridges Golf Club
LEAGUE FEES
The base league fee is $35 for each individual.
Each team is required to list at minimum a 4 person roster
League fees include: YSSL T-shirt for each participant, Weekly standings, Discounted greens fees, and Miller Lite sponsored social events at our official sponsored restaurants/bars.
TEAM/INDIVIDUAL PAYMENT
Individuals may use the following payment methods: PayPal / Credit Card or CHECK (Made out to York Social Sports League) and/or CASH.
Scramble Golf Rules
Be prepared for all weather conditions.
Men play from the white tees. Women play from the red tees.
Play Format.
1. 4 Players to a team ( 1 female player is recommended).
2. On every hole you ALL take your drive.
3. Then choose the best ball of the bunch to hit next.
4. Then you ALL hit again from that “best ball” spot.
5. Repeat 1&2 until you are on the green.
6. Mark the ball closest to the pin, all putt from that spot.
7. Mark your total best strokes only on the card for that hole.
8. If someone hits a good one and you all agree to move up and hit that one next, that’s ok.
Rule #1 Maximum score per hole is 9 strokes, when you reach this total please pick up.

Equipment
1. Each golfer supplies their own equipment
2. Proper attire is mandatory
1. Please replace divots, smooth all marks made in sand traps and repair all ball marks on the greens
2. Do not play until the players in front of you are out of range
3. Balls may be cleaned on green and divots repaired prior to putting
4. In order to keep play moving you do not need to use tee honor
5. Slow play is NOT acceptable. Spend no more than 2 minutes looking for a lost ball.
