INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
In case of inclement weather, the YSSL uses two ways to communicate cancellations: a message on the home page and an email to all participants. If a cancellation message is not made through one of these means, then all games are on. Be advised that it could be raining where you live and sunny at the parks. YSSL staff will have access to a laptop to post a message on the website if games are postponed after they start.

In some instances, certain fields become unplayable, while others are suitable for games. The YSSL will advise the league which fields can be used that evening.

If lightning occurs on the field, EVERYONE must immediately leave the area and return to their cars! DO NOT stand under a tree, or other objects in the park. The YSSL will wait 30 minutes after the last lightning strike to continue games. This also pertains to winter weather and road conditions to our facilities.
